May Top New Releases Chart

May Chart Cover 2016

June is alrady half way gone! So let’s take a look at what new releases May had to offer us in the techno, tech house and minimal music flavours. Sundelin has listed the top 10 new releases for you.

Topping this chart list is dubspeeka with “K354 Unfriended” on his release on Drumcode. Playful, analog and reverberating high toms beautifully arranged together. Then we have a track form Dast(Italy) called “Organge Bud” that is a dreamy, melodic but deep pounding techno track for those late hours of the night. The third place goes to Baikal’s A-side track “Pelican’s Flight” released on Maeve – a mesmerising, deep and flowy tune that is a great warm up track.

NJVK released a track on Anemone Recordings named “Egyszer”. This track has great hi hats and thumping kicks along with an alarming sirene sound to trigger you. A true acid track came out on Omnidisc last month by David Vunk called Troubles Tonight. With a electro-styled bass, ticking hi hats and a traveling acid melody this one is a must have in your record collection. Continuing on to spot number 6 we have Markus Schweickart’s track “Persa” on UK label Audio Elite Records. Another dark, mean track to stir up the audience a bit, with bubbly deep bass and churning percussions.

David Vunk - Troubles Tonight

The Belfast based online magazine and record label Soundspace premiered Janson’s Remix of Nikola Gala’s “Komplex” on Lower East. It’s a classic 4/4 house and techno fusion with funky bassline and uplifting vocals. On the 8th place we have another remix made by Charlotte de Witte of Andre Crom’s track “Jaunde”, which has a solemn and mediative vibe but does heat up a bit between the breaks with harder, saturated beats and sharp hats.

Vancouver trio 1800HaightStreet released “Heldled” on Mörk which is a sublabel of Lobster Theremin. This one has deep bassy kicks that gives you goose bumps and dreamy synth elements. Last on the chart list is a great remix of Traumer on Btrax Records of Camille Rodriguez’s “Andalusian 2.0”, a playful techno track with tribal drums and mysterious, brooding sounds.

Camille Rodriguez - Andalusian 2.0 (Traumer Remix)
